Dean Spychalla, General Manager of Grand Isles Resort on Exuma, is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality sector. After graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Spychalla went on to work for numerous high-profile brands including Norwegian Cruise Line, Driftwood Hospitality, and Prism Hospitality Management. Spychalla has won several awards, including The Bahamas Hotelier of the Year for 2017, and is currently the President of The Bahamas Out Islands Promotion Board as well as the Senior Vice President of The Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association.
